We can’t wait to reunite with our friends and fam at Dirtybird Campout West Coast for what’s sure to be an unforgettable weekend of fun, games, and bangin’ music at Central California’s Modesto Reservoir Campgrounds this October.
Among the stacked lineup of DJs and live artists flying in for the wilderness weekender, we’ve also got planned two label showcases featuring Dirtybird homies and some of dance music’s fast-rising stars. Get to know them before they’re everywhere.
Starring: Lubelski, RYBO, and Wyatt Marshall
Who we are:
Percomaniacs is a Los Angeles-based house and techno imprint led by Lubelski and RYBO. Sound familiar? If you’re part of the Desert Hearts fam you’ve definitely seen them at various events or heard them on DH’s own record label. They’re joined by their homie Wyatt Marshall, who recently appeared on Dirtybird’s Miami 2019 compilation.
What They Do:
The Percomaniacs crew is, in their own words, “addicted to drums.” Since launching last July, they’ve been delivering heavy and dirty percussive grooves to give a “new twist” to today’s house and techno scene, whether that’s deep in the desert or inside an LA warehouse. Lubelski and RYBO have made up the bulk of Percomaniac label releases thus far, with additional EPs from Wyatt Marshall, Kevin Anderson, and Sevader.
Percomaniacs fans received a swell summer treat a few weeks ago when the label gave away its latest release as a free download. RYBO and Lubelski thanked fans for their support by sharing edits that have been personal staples in their sets: RYBO putting some low-end stank on DJ Godfather’s “Tear This B*tch Up,” and Lubelski slathering dreamy, groove-like sunscreen onto Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain.” Both very different moods, but equally effective on the dancefloor.
Wyatt Marshall Just served up a superb remix of Andre Salmon and MFS Observatory for the label. It’s fast, its minimal, its modular. The three aspects you need to get ready for the percomaniacs takeover at Campout.
