East Coast Campout Info Coming October 30th

Words of Wisdom from Claude VonStroke

October 3rd, 2017

1. Protect Yourself & Your Fellow Birds!

The Dirtybird family is a community and it’s our responsibility to keep it alive and thriving. Come prepared, take responsibility for yourself, treat others with respect, know your limits, and use your head! Don’t be a Dodo Bird and ruin the party for the rest of the nest!

2. Fly Beyond Your Comfort Zone

Dirtybird Campout is a place where self-expression is celebrated and camp spirit is encouraged. Whether you’re sporty, crafty or just here to boogie, don’t be afraid to to explore and partake in all the weekend’s wild and weird festivities. It’s what makes this festival experience one-of-a-kind!

3. Respect the Nest

It’s our responsibility to the Earth, and ourselves, to leave the land better than we found it. Clean up after yourself and remember to bring your own trash bags. Take your camp trash home, or take advantage of our waste disposal service.

4. Watch Yo Wings

Campout takes place on public land, and even though it feels like a remote environment, federal, state, and local laws remain in effect. Pay attention, respect the law & your rights!

5. All from the Same Flock

Inside Dirtybird Campout artists, staff, and attendees are all here as ONE Campout community where status and labels do not apply. Come to Campout with an open mind, a good attitude and make sure to check your ego at the door.

6. Lead by Example

As our community grows we ask campers to lead the way and encourage good behavior through action. Picking up a piece of flyaway trash or helping a fellow camper can inspire others to do the same. Do your part to keep Campout’s high vibes alive!
